Autoimmune Support

Comprehensive Functional Medicine for Autoimmune Support

Customized Integrative Treatment Plans

If you’re navigating life with Hashimoto’s, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, or another autoimmune condition, you know how deeply it can affect your energy, mood, digestion, hormones, and sense of self. Autoimmune illness doesn’t just show up in the body—it impacts your whole experience.

It is estimated that 10% of people worldwide are affected by autoimmunity! (1) That is around 600-800 million people! Most of whom are unable to access deeper rooted, effective protocols.

  • Hashimoto’s thyroiditis & autoimmune thyroid

  • Rheumatoid arthritis & inflammatory joint pain

  • Psoriasis, eczema, skin-gut-immune axis

  • Lupus (SLE)

  • Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis & leaky gut

  • Fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue with immune overlay

Commonly experienced symptoms associated with autoimmunity may include:

  • Brain fog, memory lapses, poor concentration

  • Joint and muscle pain or stiffness

  • Bloating, food reactions, IBS

  • Eczema, psoriasis, or unexplained skin rashes

  • Cold hands/feet, brittle nails, hair loss

  • Unexplained weight changes

  • Light, sound, or temperature sensitivity

  • Mood shifts: anxiety, depression, numbness

  • Headaches, dry eyes, swollen glands

  • Flare-ups triggered by stress or food

These aren’t just physical issues—they’re signals from a body and nervous system under chronic stress.

So often patients are told there is no cure, other than medications and that it is simply a genetic issue.  This is far from the full picture. We see patients flares and related symptoms decrease in severity and frequency all the time with autoimmune nutrition, gut healing, immune modulating and customized, specific functional medicine protocols.

There are autoimmune tests available, supports and immune modulating / balancing approaches that are evidence based and effective.

Examples of such interventions are dietary autoimmune protocols, microbe and digestive testing and healing, LDN prescriptions (low dose naltrexone) and key functional medicine supports.

It is important to first explore the root causes behind why your immune system is imbalanced and reactive. These may include:

  • Hidden infections, toxic load, food sensitivities

  • Gut permeability and microbiome imbalance

  • Immune dysregulation (Th1/Th2/Th17/Treg)

  • Inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α, CRP)

  • Detoxification, methylation, hormone pathways

  • Nervous system dysregulation and immune imprintin

Testing may include:

  • Autoimmune markers (ANA, anti-TPO, anti-CCP, dsDNA)

  • Gut health panels (zonulin, stool microbiome, IgA)

  • Cytokines & inflammation panels

  • Genetic variants (MTHFR, COMT, HLA)

  • Organic acids (OAT), glutathione, mitochondrial markers

Personalized protocols may include:

  • Lectin-free or gut-specific anti-inflammatory and autoimmune food protocols

  • Immune-balancing botanicals (e.g., plant sterols, adaptogens)

  • Nervous system repair tools (vagus nerve work, breathwork)

  • Mitochondrial and antioxidant support (glutathione, CoQ10)

  • Low-dose naltrexone (LDN) or natural immunomodulators

  • Hypnotherapy, emotional release, trauma-aware dialogue

The first steps are to book an initial visit together. From there we can discuss options and supports.
